I Live Here

The last few days I have been quite busy. After my first jet lagged day, Tuesday was spent with a group from England that was there for only the day. Wednesday was spent doing research about the recent Hamas and Fatah reconciliation and Thursday was the first day of a three day conference. The conference is together with a German organization called KURVE Wustrow to plan a three year project to promote nonviolence amongst Palestinian youth. Today was again spent in the conference, but I also had a chance to go to a nearby village and see a nonviolent protest.

There will be stories and more detail soon, but until then I will leave you with some pictures of where I am living. It is a one room plus bedroom apartment with a little washing machine right in the kitchen. Even though the balcony is awesome, the door is my favourite part. It's iron and you need to slide the lock; it makes me feel like I live in a castle.
