Though these pictures show a very beautiful place in and of itself, these pictures cannot show you how Wi'am stands out to the majority of Bethlehem. Because of strict regulations, an influx of refugees and the Wall, Bethlehem is confined to a very small area with too many people. This means that there is very little green space in Bethlehem. I believe that the playground at Wi'am in the only one in Bethlehem, a city of twenty-five thousand. The garden is very close to Zoughbi's heart and is one of his many forms of resisting the occupation.

I know it is probably difficult to encapsulate, but could you describe more about what the organization does on a day to day basis? Who comes to the office and how does this slot into the greater vision for peace?
